- Brooke Chook Added December 25, 2019★ ★ ★ ★ ★We stayed in the Lemur room where we not only got to enjoy watching the gorgeous Lemurs but also overlooked the lions and hyenas. All the staff are wonderful and never hesitate to offer help. We did a venture tour with our guide Will.T who was absolutely the best guide you could ask for. He was very informative and went out of his way to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We highly recommend spending the money to stay here if you love animals as you can see how much of the money goes into the care of the animals.

We stayed in the tiger room and it was such a treat, they were active and wonderful to watch. We experienced patting a cheetah and the dog that lives with the cheetah. We did the afternoon and morning tours and recommend doing both. They had an incredible collection of art and artefacts. The room was so clean and perfect. We even fed the tigers. Such an incredible experience thank you so much

Suites have a view to the wildlife and the aquarium. Jamala wildlife lodge supports the zoo and also animal programs in Africa. The support staff and the rangers make the stay comfortable and informative. Dinner experience next to the lion enclosure is the best part....

What an amazing experience, everything was just perfect from our check-in until we checked out. The food was exceptional and all the staff were wonderful.
This experience should be a must do on everyone's bucket list.
